Dr. Jared Kohler is a passionate and inspired chiropractor.  He  received his Bachelors of Science degree in Environmental Economics from the University of Florida in 1993.   Shortly thereafter, he witnessed a close friend with a "locked" and painful neck experience instant relief after a chiropractic adjustment.  He then began to investigate the science and philosophy behind this incredible natural healing art.  What he saw was a practice philosophy consistent with natural laws that was grounded in science and  produced dramatic reduction in pain, improved performance, and overall well-being without drugs or surgery!  Because the science, philosophy and art of chiropractic was consistent with his values and lifes purpose,  he decided to pursue chiropractic.

In 1999, after 4 years of intensive study at Life University in Atlanta, Dr. Kohler graduated,  packed his car and moved to Seattle.  After receiving his Washington State Board Certification, he started a small practice in Greenlake.   Because of the great results chiropractic gets, his practice generated alot of positive word-of-mouth and grew quickly.  In June of 2005, he purchased a beautifully restored 1904 craftsman in N. Capitol Hill, moved his practice there and opened The Vital Energy Center.

Dr. Kohler has also served as lead Kinesiology instructor for Ashmead College’s Fitness Trainer Program and is a participating member of SELF IN MOTION, a non-profit after school wellness program for local elementary school kids.  He has received extensive training in correcting spinal subluxations, spinal rehabilitation, treatment of auto injuries, and neurologic muscle testing.  He is an active member of the Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research and the Washington State Chiropractic Association.  He takes pride in his reputation for being a caring, considerate, and excellent chiropractor!
