The Vital Energy Center - Chiropractic Kinesiology Clinic, is now using the latest in Neuro-Diagnostic Imaging Technology in order to aid in the detection of vertebral subluxations.

The Myovision SEMG (Static Electro-myography) is an instrument which measures the amount of electrical activity that muscles release when they are tense. It is similar to an EKG, which measures heart muscle activity. The muscles that move the spine have a tendency to "brace" in response to spinal misalignments, known as *Vertebral Subluxations*. These Subluxations create nerve interference which adversely affects muscles, tendons, ligaments, blood vessels and may cause the following symptoms:

• Back Pain

• Neck and Shoulder Pain

• Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

• Headaches and Migraines

When Vertebral Subluxations are present, the nervous system is negatively affected, resulting in increases or decreases in muscle activity. Studies in prestigious chiropractic and medical journals have shown that SEMG is a primary method for screening and identifying the cause of musculoskeletal disorders.
