Beth Owen's first exposure to holistic approaches to health happened while taking yoga in high school. She was fascinated by how different stretches eased aches and pains. After some world travel, she finished her Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences at Evergreen State College. Beth then went on to Cortiva's Brenneke School of Massage and graduated in October 2007. There she developed a passion for treatment where she integrates deep tissue, myofascial release, Reiki, active stretching and other techniques to help clients live pain-free lives.
As a perpetual student of life she became a registered yoga teacher after completing Samadhi's yoga teacher training here in Seattle in the spring of 2009. The program has enriched her practice with understanding how improper body mechanics can lead to repetitive motion injuries not only in life, but also on the mat.
When she's not treating patients she is usually cooking food with her friends and family or meditating with the Dharma Punx sangha.
