 I was rear ended in a car accident.  Initially I didnt notice any pain, but a few weeks after the accident, I began to feel a seizing in my neck and upper back and came to get it checked out by Dr. Kohler

What have your improvements been and how have they influenced your life?

The improvements have been gradual but steady.   About midway in treatment I felt discouraged because I was still experiencing pain and limitation, but I ultimately the pain ended and I regained my range of motion and it was very encouraging to me to have overcome this condition.

Would you feel comfortable referring friends and family to Dr. Kohler? Why?

Yes!  I think he is very good -perceptive, intuitive and caring, and he always has good tips for self-care and encourages patients to be their own self-healers.  Overall I am 100% satisfied with the care at The Vital Energy Center

What were the conditions that brought you to Vital Energy Center and Dr. Kohler?

I had been experiencing upper back, neck and lower back pain for over 2 years following a motor vehicle accident.  Other chiropractors and physical therapists had decreased my symptoms temporarily , but they always came back.  A friend suggested Dr. Kohler

I now feel PAIN-FREE most of the time and have increased my range of motion in my neck.

Yes!  certainly.  Dr. Kohler is knowlegable, friendly and an excellent chiropractor.  I am also impressed that he gave me responsibility for my healing... (ie: stretches for homework that have really helped speed my recovery and its is a tool that I can use everyday.  Im 100% satisfied!

What were the conditions that brought you to Vital Energy Center and Dr. Kohler?

I was referred by Dr. Preston after being bed ridden for weeks with a weird “brain virus” and after complications from a spinal tap. I had pain in my neck, back and severe pain in hip, headaches, confusion and weak muscles (too tired to stand up straight).

What have your improvements been and how have they influenced your life?

All of the symptoms above are gone. I feel so much better now, it’s hard to even remember all the different ways I felt miserable. Before I got sick, I had headaches every day (tension headaches) and I don’t have them any more, I’ve also learned to change my posture and this especially helps with driving. I used to get very tired and uncomfortable commuting and it’s easier now, I don’t get so tired. Generally feel better, more energy and not in pain all the time. When I am having pain I can usually make it better by changing my behavior or doing my exercises.

Would you feel comfortable referring friends and family to Dr. Kohler? Why?

Yes, I have. He helped me and he’s gentle. I was nervous about going to a chiropractor and being wrenched around when I was already in pain and recovering from damage to my spinal cord, I so was nervous, but I like that he’s very gentle and doesn’t five you any reason to fear that he might move your body in a way that might make it worse.

I had severe neck and upper back pain, made worse by my work; casting and splinting patients in a local hospital. My yoga teacher referred me to Dr. Kohler. I now have less pain, more energy and a more positive attitude as a result! Overall I feel healthier!

Less pain, more energy and a more positive attitude as a result. I have noticed I have more stamina when I exercise and go for longer periods of time at work with less discomfort. Overall I feel healthier!

Dr. Kohler is comprehensive in his assessment, gentle in his adjustments and importantly encouraging in promoting back health outside the office. He provides a more gentle approach to chiropractic and offers lots of helpful advice.

I had pain in my neck, upper back and low back. It was constant and interfered with my work and life activities. I had very little hope the pain would ever go away. I came to Dr. Kohler thinking he would offer some relief.

The pain in my upper back and neck are gone. It has improved my day to day life significantly. I can work and play without the nagging pain. My attitude is also better because I’m not distracted by my neck and back. It has also taught me about my body’s ability to heal so I have confidence in those properties, where before I had little hope I would get better.

Yes! After three years of pain Dr. Kohler helped me heal and reach a pain free life. I want any of my friends with pain to experience the same. No other doctors were able to help me get here, so of course I would and have recommended Dr. Kohler.

“Dr. Kohler was my Kinesiology teacher in the Fitness Trainer Program at Ashmead College. While working out one day, my neck seized up and I couldn’t move it! I called and immediately set an appointment with Dr. Kohler. He took x-rays of my neck and saw that my neck curve was going in reverse. He then did some adjustments, gave me home exercises and within a short time I was able to move my neck again!

I have continued with care because it has significantly improved my athletic performance. I am a baseball player and this past season my hitting and fielding was significantly improved.

Stiffness in neck, shoulders & chest . . . difficulty breathing at times. Lower back pain.

What have your improvements been and how have they influenced your life?

Cutting out the dairy worked wonders for my congestion. My neck & shoulders are much looser – thus relieving the breathing issues. My posture has improved greatly and general attitude toward paying attention to and acting upon physical pain – seeing its relation emotionally. How to proceed via exercises (very helpful) & other caretaking options.

Back/neck spasm – the last in many that had been happening over the years and I felt I had tried everything.

 What have your improvements been and how have they influenced your life?

My posture has dramatically improved and I feel less pain in my back. I have more awareness of the function of my spine and the relatedness of all my actions to the many parts of my body.

Absolutely – I feel not only have I seen improvements and felt better with each visit, but I also have been given tools to continue to heal and grow throughout my daily life. I felt my treatment was individualized and personal to the type of life I lead.

I had no problem at all and I felt perfectly fine, I was just curious about what I could learn from the Free evaluation & consultation.

To my amazement, After a few sessions with Dr Jared, I felt a very subtle but deep change with my emotions and perceptions. I became more patient, my memory and concentration clearly improved.

This experience strengthened forever my trust in Chiropractic , and I feel the problems are addressed gently and deeply, at their very root, without the use of any chemicals or heavy treatments. I believe this is the future of humanity to not treat the body like a machine but rather with a holistic approach. The mechanic, chemical medicine will appear as barbaric and medieval to the next generation. I recommend Dr Jared all the time.

I have seen Dr. Kohler for basic body tune ups, but most recently I have been working with him because of an automobile accident. I was rear ended on the highway and felt immediate back pain. I underwent a series of regular chiropractic visits and massage therapy. Both were extremely beneficial in easing my tense back and relieving pain. Most recently I have added acupuncture treatment which has helped me feel movement and circulation of energy in my back.

At first I chose chiropractic work to help stabilize my body for intense dance training which made me realize the importance of the spine and its connection to the body. I think chiropractic is an amazing and healthy method of treating the body. I believe in it and have recommended many of my close friends to Dr. Kohler’s office.

I had slight pain and stiffness in my lower back and glutes. A good friend had rave reviews about Dr. Kohler and so I decided to book an appointment.
